Turkey has a good public transport network of domestic flights, buses, ferries you can pay for in advance and daily minibuses can get you to most smaller villages. Trains are less available. The well-maintained road system means hiring a car is a great travel option. Hire cars come with an electronic device for recording toll fees, with the cost totalled up at the end of your rental period.
