Family holiday deals to Benidorm

With sunshine, sandy beaches and plenty of playgrounds and activities for kids, it’s easy to see why Benidorm family holidays are so popular. Add boat trips and theme parks to your itinerary, and you have a holiday for all ages.

It’s easy to get to Benidorm, too. It’s around 40 minutes by road from Alicante Airport, so you can be paddling, sunbathing and indulging in your favourite ice creams within the hour.

Beyond the beach, the Terra Natura Wildlife Park, Aqualandia and the pretty city of Valencia are all just a short drive away.

Top family-friendly destinations in Benidorm

Poniente

With the longest beach in town and a palm-lined promenade, Poniente is home to some of Benidorm’s more upmarket hotels. One of the resort’s quieter areas, Poniente is a great spot for building sandcastles and spending hours splashing around in the blue sea. For an authentic Spanish experience, join local families in the old town for traditional tapas on the weekend.

Levante Beach

Levante’s beautiful sandy beach is clean, family-friendly and lively from day to night. The watersports here are amazing for teens, with wakeboarding, kayaking and scuba diving all on offer. Many nearby hotels have kids’ pools and entertainment, and with Aqualandia close by, fun-filled day trips are easy too.

La Cala de Finestrat

For a quieter family holiday in Benidorm, you could stay just outside of town in La Cala de Finestrat – around the corner from Poniente. This little cove has a good number of kid-friendly hotels and a lovely sandy beach – as well as a more traditional Spanish village vibe.
