Family holiday deals to Greece

For family holidays that feature mythical wonders, stunning landscapes and a whole heap of sunshine, head to Greece. The land of ancient gods is a rich blend of culture, adventure and beautiful beaches – and not just on the mainland. Families can also escape to one of the 200-plus inhabited islands that dot the Aegean and Ionian seas.

In Greece, you can spend most of your holiday lounging by the sea and within a stone’s throw of a family-friendly resort. Or if you’re looking for a more action-packed trip, there are plenty of historic sites and epic attractions to explore – not to mention the country’s lush countryside, rich with vineyards and olive groves.

Top family-friendly destinations in Greece

Crete

The largest island in Greece, Crete is a top destination for family-friendly holidays thanks to its wide variety of kid-friendly beaches, family resorts and attractions. Relax as the little ones build sandcastles on Elafonissi, Istro and Vai beaches, embark on a family history adventure at the ancient palace of Knossos, or paddle in the crystal-clear waters of Lake Kournas. Other family favourite attractions in Crete include Aquaplus Water Park and CretAquarium.

Corfu

With its historic fortresses, action-packed Aqualand waterpark and picturesque shingle-and-sand beaches, Corfu has long been a family favourite for summer getaways. Discover sea caves by boat, chase fairytale waterfalls inland or island hop to nearby Paxos and Antipaxos for even more stunning beaches.

Rhodes

With around 50km (31 miles) of soft sand along its east coast and a glittering, turquoise coastline, Rhodes delivers on the beach front. Stay in Faliraki for kid-friendly beach resorts and attractions like WaterPark Faliraki. You can also visit the Valley of the Butterflies, wander the streets of Rhodes Old Town, take a boat trip to Symi and check out the ancient acropolis of Lindos.
