Weekends often disappear in a haze of catching up on jobs and sleep, and you can return to the office on a Monday morning wondering why you didn’t do more.
To help you to add some excitement to your time off this spring and to maximise your annual leave, I’ve found three deals for less than £300pp that allow you to escape for three nights, with two over the weekend. From a five-star spa stay to a swish base with a rooftop pool, these are my top deals of the week.

Barcelona is a solid choice for a city break, and this mid-April deal from Liverpool is ideal for a little slice of Catalan charm. Whether you want to admire the famous Gaudi architecture, kick back with a glass of cava or sample delicious tapas by the beach, it’s a perfect springtime getaway.
You’ll stay at Hotel Granados 83, a four-star beauty with swish decor and a rooftop pool in the Eixample district. The hotel gets rave reviews for its comfortable beds and welcoming staff, plus its central yet quiet location.
You’ll be right in the heart of Barcelona, with restaurants and bars on your doorstep, plus sights like Sagrada Familia. You’re also just a five-minute walk from the lively Rambla de Catalunya boulevard and ten minutes from the popular shopping street Passeig de Gracia.
This deal costs from just £294pp and, if the flights highlighted don’t work for you, look at the deals from other companies on TravelSupermarket too. loveholidays, as an example, lets you browse ‘alternative flights’ and there are loads for this one from both Liverpool and Manchester for a similar price.
The details: Three nights at the four-star Hotel Granados 83 in Barcelona on a room-only basis from £294pp, based on two travelling. Flights from Liverpool on 11 April 2026.

This long weekend escape to Porto is the perfect mini break if you’re after a spot of warmth, culture and great food and drink. Flights are from Belfast in mid-April on a Friday evening and return on a Monday morning, so you get to enjoy a whole weekend in the city without having to use up too much annual leave.
Even better news, this is a five-star stay at the Porto Palacio Congress Hotel & Spa, which has all the facilities you’d expect from a luxury hotel, including a full spa and indoor pool. It’s a little out of the centre, but that means you get a much bigger and better hotel for your money than staying super centrally. There are lovely views over Porto and the Douro River, plus a rooftop bar for coffee or sundowners.
From your hotel you can walk to the Serralves Foundation, a cool contemporary museum, as well as the Bom Sucesso indoor food market. And, it’s a ten-minute walk to catch a bus to Ribeira, the historic Porto neighbourhood known for its narrow winding streets and colourful houses.
The details: Three nights at the five-star Porto Palacio Congress Hotel & Spa in Porto on a room-only basis from £269pp, based on two travelling. Flights from Belfast on 17 April 2026.

My final deal for you this week is travelling to trendy Berlin at the end of April, when the weather is mild and the summer crowds have yet to descend.
You’ll stay in luxury for three nights at the DoubleTree by Hilton Berlin Ku’damm, a five-star spot that’s a posh base for your Berlin adventure. Ku’damm is the swankiest shopping street in the city, and is in a well-connected area making getting around a breeze - it’s around 15 minutes on the U-Bahn to Museum Island and the historic Gendarmenmarkt square.
Again, if the airport or flight times for this deal don’t work for you, there are lots of alternative flights from other London airports for a similar price.
The details: Three nights at the five-star DoubleTree by Hilton Berlin Ku’damm in Berlin on a room-only basis from £279pp, based on two travelling. Flights from London Southend on 23 April 2026.
Please note: All prices were correct at the time of writing (12 March 2026) and are subject to change and availability.
